About your Instructor

Edith is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in Mortgage Finance, Real Estate, and Credit Services. She has a passion for helping first time homebuyers and has built a reputation for offering abundant resources along with excellent customer service in guiding buyers though stress-free transactions. Her devotion and unparalleled services have resulted in a continuously expanding network of loyal clients and referrals. With her extensive knowledge in finance, credit, and great understanding of the home buying process, she aims to educate, and help prepare buyers to attain homes that suit their needs and budget.
Through her course Blueprint to Homeownership, Edith educates individuals about financing options available, first-time home buyers’ programs for down payment and closing costs assistance, how to repair and/or establish credit, and so much more. Her aim is to make an impact in the community by helping others gain financial freedom through homeownership.
Edith is a focused listener, able advisor, and fierce advocate who is known for her intuition and ability to employ encouragement and genuine concern. With a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Mount St. Mary’s University and an MBA from the University of Maryland, she has acquired valuable skills to drive business and personal financial growth and
educates her clients as she shares her knowledge. As a Licensed Realtor and Certified Credit Counselor, she offers financial guidance and solutions depending on a client’s short-term and long-term goals. With a unique charm and friendly personality, Edith continuously seeks to teach her students as she also stays educated and ahead of the game when it comes to financing programs, credit law changes, and real estate education.
What to Expect
This is a 7 module course, and each module will be released on Mondays. During the 7 weeks, you will be able to participate in live weekly Q&A group calls, where you can get all the answers to your questions, and receive guidance and coaching directly from your instructor.

Credit Education
In the modules related to credit education you will learn about credit history, laws, and strategies to build or repair your credit. You will receive bonus materials that will help you effectively tackle any credit obstacles currently preventing you from qualifying for a mortgage loan.
Finance Education
Finance Education modules will teach you about the different loan programs, underwriting guidelines, income and asset requirements, and how to minimize out of pocket costs by tapping on available grants, assistance programs, and much more.


Prep for Success
Certainly there is more to home buying than just credit and financing. In these modules you will learn all you need to know on how to prepare for homeownership. You will work on budgeting, learn how to maximize your income, interviewing and hiring the right professionals, choosing the best property type, and much more.
